Budokon MMA

Budokon_FlyerDave Garnder visits Cape Town again – inspiring and motivating us all to move like natural-born primates.  He’s just returned to South Africa after another training with Cameron Shayne, founder of Budokon University.  This form of Mixed Movement Arts focuses on spinal movement, natural calisthenic primal articulation of joints.  This is combined with focus on breath and mind.

Dave is facilitating a fantastic lineup of Budokon Mixed Movement Arts workshops.  Book in for one or all.  The details are all below.

10 – 12 June 2016  |  ZAR 250 per workshop or ZAR 1 000 for all five |  Book early as  spaces are limited.  You can book by email info @ jimharringtonyoga . com or via the ReUnion Website.

Date Time Workshop
10 June 18.30 – 20.30 The Way of the Warrior Yogi

Budokon recognizes the Warrior within each and everyone – the warrior that has the potential to create change within. We honour the yogi within that has the ability to discern that which can be changed, and that which cannot, learning to accept these things with contentment and peace.

11 June 11.30 – 13.30 Flow, Float, Fall and Roll

Play with signature BDK spinal rolling techniques to awaken the spine. Lean to float like a ninja, flow like water, roll like a wave and fall with style!

11 June 14.30 – 16.30 The Humanimal

You are an animal, move like one! Find your playfulness in this exploration of BDK’s Animal Locomotion & Calisthenics.

12 June 11.30 – 13.30 The Battle of the Divided Mind

In this workshop you explore the philosophy of Budokon and Movement Arts and the role of the Warrior within. Dave will teach and demonstrate how we can play with BDK transitions to create a seamless circular movement and unify the Divided Mind.

12 June 14.30 – 16.30 The BDK Love Warrior

In this last workshop Dave brings it all together: the full BDK experience and narrative. Bringing it all together with congruence and fluidity.BudokonYogaPortfolioHeader
