The idea of a retreat is time out from the usual grind, to refuel, and reconnect with what’s really important. For some, it’s to do some “blue sky thinking” connect with creativity. For others, it is simply a sweet holiday where they get to indulge in lots of yoga.
Since 2003 Jim’s retreat locations have ranged from the scenic Cape hinterland, to exotic hills of Bali in Indonesia. 2012 saw retreats at the luxury Bushman’s Kloof Resort in the Cedarberg, a Yoga for Surfers retreat at Elands Bay on the West coast.
“I am really excited about these retreat projects, they offer people a meaningful and positive way to take a break. And in the process they get new experiences, broaden horizons and expand their yoga practice.”
2013 offers several opportunities to retreat. I will start with a local retreat in the beautiful Overberg near Capetown in March 1st to 3rd. There are exciting plans throughout the year. India and Madagascar with dates still to be confirmed, and finishing with my old favorite in Ubud, Bali from the 8th to 15th of December.
New retreats will be published under events, and detailed in the newsletter. sign up for the newsletter to stay abreast.
